Last night turned into a more productive night than what I thought it would be as I managed to get a few jobs done on my blog which I was planning on doing today. As I had managed to get the jobs out of the way – adding a video spot to the front page (I think I am improving as a video editor) and adding a logo to the front side bar – it allowed me to spend some time doing some jobs in the house (my homemaker skills – well wallpaper stripping skills) . I even managed to have a sit down for my lunch with a cuppa and started sorting through emails and working on my blog again. I now have three orders from  my webshop to bake ready for Friday so I am definitely back in the kitchen tomorrow.

For the rest of today, I have the school run, an ironing pile and beds to make up (more homemaking) – as I decided it was a washing day for the bedding. Glutton for punishment I know but it had to be done and you can’t beat the smell of washing – especially bedding that has been dried outside on the washing line – so I needed to make good use of the nice weather whilst it is here and get the washing done. It sounds like I have had such a boring day but sometimes you have to do the mundane jobs. 🙁

Looking back at the Foodie Calendar I have missed several days at the beginning of May. I have been so busy this last week as well as, I have included some of these days with recipes and ideas last year. You can find my ideas on “Cinco de Mayo Day” with my Mexican menu for the family to enjoy. Also, I have missed “National Jelly Bean Day” which last year I baked Jelly Bean Cookies for and I shared the recipe too.

So the plans ( my favourite job – baker) for tomorrow are baking the orders ready for delivery – two Traybakes and a Giant Cookie as well as a Savoury Scone idea that I want to try out. My other bake that I want to try is for a Fudge with the addition of a variety of nuts and a traybake with a difference that I have no name for yet but the idea is floating around in my head.

After the baking is done I must crack on with the paperwork and get up to date with all the book keeping, cleaning schedules and supplier/stock control sheets and then I will be a happy bunny. 🙂 Once that is all done I can get back to the webshop ( my writer job) and the changes which I am making to it and get the Etsy shop up to date.  So much to do but I am very tired now so I will be stopping soon with cuppa for a well deserved break. 🙂
