Well it’s Saturday again and I already have orders for postal delivery on Monday so it looks like I’m baking on Monday morning to post on Monday afternoon. It is great that I am receiving orders for postal delivery as that was the reason I opened an online shop and after several months and an awful lot of work it is starting to pay off. In fact this week I have added coupons to my webshop and my Etsy shop to receive 10% of your orders until the 31st December 2018. For the webshop and Etsy shop type in “christmasbonus” as the code to apply at the checkout to receive the discount.
I really want to have Sunday with my family so I am going to try and finish my jobs today. The weeks are flying by and time definitely goes faster as you grow older. All I hear from my children is “ah school again” and about how much they “hate getting up and out in the morning to get to school on time”. Then when the weekends come around my children won’t even get dressed and love having pyjama days. I could do with a pyjama day myself today but I am up and raring to go as I have a few new things to try today. 🙂
I had a busy week, last week, so I feel like I need a weekend off. I don’t think that will happen for quite a while as I am really getting busy now. I am hoping I don’t have to turn anyone away with an order as I am starting to feel the strain.
I have been watching how these bakes have travelled to customers this week and think I may need to adjust the postage to a different option, which although more expensive, it will guarantee the delivery of the products with 24 hours as I hate to think of my bakes sitting in a Post Office Sorting Office for several days. 🙁
Baking this week has included lots of traybakes and cupcakes and thankfully I had plenty of ingredients already in the store cupboard so I didn’t need a quick trip to the shop. I managed to bake some Cupcakes to show off my Christmas Tree Trays which I bought off Ebay so I am hoping to get some orders for these – collection only though as I can’t guarantee the postal delivery of cupcakes yet. Still working on that problem. I have one bake which I want to try on Saturday – another Christmas bake.
