Well first of all, I need to say a big thank you to those who bought a copy of my books which have been on offer this week. It has made my week that some of you out there have bought e-books about Easter recipes and Halloween recipes, as well as, the new recipe book “All Things Christmasy”. I’m hoping some of you are holding out for the compilation of all five recipe books which I am working on at the moment – I am already up to 180 pages and counting so it is going to be a large, in colour, hardback book but I haven’t decided on the title yet.
For today, as it is so cold outside, I am going to make some Soup but record a video of myself making it as I am planning on sharing my recipes on Instagram, Facebook and so on with a short fun video to show the methods I use and the end results. Big changes are afoot for me which I am quite excited about. I know this is going to be hard work and quite tricky to set up correctly but you have to try these things. I am baking some gooey Double Chocolate Cookies for the children to munch on over the weekend and I may even bake some Bread to go with the Vegetable Soup or for Bacon Butties if the family want seeing as the weather is not going to be very nice this weekend.
At the moment, I am sat basking in the morning sunshine coming through the window thinking about what recipes I can make using cranberries and cranberry sauce in – as it is the season for cranberry sauce and lets face it nobody eats a whole jar of cranberry sauce. I find that I always throw the jar away after a few weeks of it sitting hiding in the fridge – but not this year. I already use dried cranberries in a Granola Bar recipe which I make regularly and I have shared it as a recipe of the week but I don’t use them in any other recipes. I am going to take a sneaky peak on Pinterest for some inspiration and then go from there to see what I come up with. Watch this space!!
I think I need to read up on how to film myself baking too just to be on the safe side so I am going to make a start and I will share what I manage to bake later. In the mean time, if you like my recipes or have tried any of them and want to grab a copy of latest book “Baking at its best: All Things Christmasy” then nip along to Amazon now. A perfect stocking filler at this time of year for any budding baker.
