You know when you get one of them days when you managed to finish a job the day before and then you find other things that you can work on which you previously thought were okay but now your thoughts have changed. Well that is what has happened to me today so I am spending my day working on “my books”.
Last night, I published my newest book which is called “All Things Christmasy” and it is a recipe book full of Christmas baking ideas for you to try. I am loving the fact that these recipes are all ones which my family love at Christmas time. They are the treats they always ask for and these bakes are what I made and sold in my market days. Very popular with lots of customers indeed. This book will be available as a paperback and an e-book through Amazon.
My next idea or rather my husband’s idea is to combine all the recipe books which I have written now, of which there are five now, and make them into one large book which will be jam packed full of recipes. This is what I am working on now but when I have opened up the first file from my first ever recipe book there are so many changes which I want to make. I know I need to change the books slightly as I have seen my husband re-writing his own book many, many times and then republishing it. So let the hard work commence – not a good time really to be starting this work but I will have to find the time to do it. 🙂 Nothing like some extra pressure is there when it is Christmas coming up and still so much to do anyway.

My Christmas Cakes are still available for delivery locally or collection for the next 10 days. There are other bakes available on my webshop if you fancy a homebaked treat for a party or other celebration over the festive period but remember the postal services may be affected on the run up to Christmas and slightly beyond. I will be taking a look at the prices etc., on my webshop, by the weekend, so keep your eyes peeled as there may be a deal or two added.
At some point, I need to venture into the kitchen and start some baking, one, for a customer who wants some bakes for her family gathering over Christmas, two, for my own family for Christmas and just to get them through the rest of the week.
So back to the other jobs I must go as the school run will soon be here and I really don’t want a late night tonight if I can help it. 🙂
