Its Tuesday already where has the weekend gone. Oh yes, that’s right one minute I was writing on my blog and the next I turn around and it’s Tuesday again 🙂
On Saturday, I was sat at my desk planning my day as I only had 24 hours to get all my jobs done as my Sunday was taken up with a road trip to take my eldest daughter and her friend up to Glasgow to watch “Panic! at the Disco” in concert. I wasn’t really looking forward to it but we had made a promise to her along time ago as a birthday treat but now the time is here and I really need to get in the zone.
Well Sunday has been and gone – the concert was a big hit but after school drop off on Monday I really didn’t want to do anything except sleep so I am already a day behind this week. Tonight I am going to have to spend some time writing up my accounts ready for the April deadline as I don’t want to get behind with them. I think I am going to have to force myself to stay awake though as I feel quite tired still. This tiredness might have been brought on from the amount of cleaning and scrubbing I have done this morning as I am planning on painting the living room next week – orders permitting.
My plans for tomorrow are to complete some orders I have for postal delivery and collection, bake an idea I have for “Easter” and a Friday Treat Box for this week before prepping for the “Mother’s Day” Cupcake Bouquets orders which I have for collection on Saturday.
I do have a Chocolate Oatie Cookie recipe to share so I may get that added to today’s post – time permitting. My family made short work of the first batch I baked last week so I will need to bake some more today just to take some photos of them before the vultures descend and it means they will have a homebaked treat for their packed lunches this week.
For the rest of this afternoon, before school pickup, I am going to finish a couple more jobs in the house so that I can take the children to pick their Easter Eggs from the supermarket (something we do every year). Also, I have to buy some decorations for an Etsy order which I have to bake tomorrow, as well as, a couple of ideas that I want to try out soon.
