Now that I am getting the hang of this blogging I am finding that the ideas are just flowing . I have so many documents half written that I am in the middle of finishing and many more written down to start working on. I am going to have to invest in a laptop as my netbook is running out of space on the hard drive. Also I need to invest in a camera so I can achieve a better quality photograph for my work.
On the baking front I have baked for the childrens’ packed lunches yesterday, brownies and flapjacks. In my dreams, last night I decided to add dried cherries and berries to the flapjack mix and make my own granola bars. So that is what I am going to make today. Also I want to make a banana and walnut cake to use up the older bananas which my family have not eaten. I hate seeing things go to waste. Even if I have to freeze the cake or the bananas they will not be thrown away.
It is getting into autumn now , my favourite time of year. So this weekend I am going to make some gingerbread cake with some plain glace icing just the way my mother used to make it.
