I thought I would have a quick catch up and write something I can refer back to as my mind is full on baking mode right now. I am just living low carbohydrate and vegan baking after my orders from yesterday. I want to try out some other ingredients for making these bakes as I feel this is an important area to look into and develop my own skills further as my own children all loved the spares from this order yesterday.

So far I have been really quite busy and there doesn’t seem to be time for a breather. I have baked Low Carbohydrate Cupcakes and Vegan Cupcakes to bake for a regular customer, Cheese Scones and a couple of “no bake traybakes” for my own children to enjoy and it is only Tuesday.

Wednesday, is already filling up with an order for Mini Cheesecakes coming off the back of my orders on Friday but I want to mess around with the flavours on these bakes too. I have ideas whizzing around in my head which I really need to try soon. Also, I am wanting to try out some Halloween decorations which I want to do combine with a Low Carbohydrate/Vegan Cupcake recipe I am working on.

As well as this, I have another Fruit Cake to bake (early customer order), a Giant Cookie to bake and decorate for Halloween – something extra I need completed so that I am ready for Halloween.

My other jobs for tomorrow include working on

  • my recipe book promotion
  • answering emails
  • making a start on my book keeping 🙂

All of this needs doing before Friday when I have a large order of Traybakes to do for a customer. Roll on the weekend as it is the end of term for my children so it will be a week of PJs if my children have their way. For myself, it will be a busy week checking I have everything ready for the 30th October so I can get these Halloween Treat Boxes packed and collected for the scary time of year 🙂 It’s getting exciting!!
