It seems like it was days ago when I wrote about baking some Sweet Mincemeat Tarts using gluten free flour but I only managed to make some tarts yesterday and I took some brilliant photos of them with the help of a portable studio (courtesy of my good friend). I think my photos are really good, so much so, that I am going to share the recipe on some recipe sites soon – I think?

Gluten free Sweet Mincemeat Tarts

The gluten free sweet mincemeat tarts are delicious and will be added to my webshop soon. I am still in the process of adding the Fruit Cakes and I hope to have them visible on my shop today – if I manage to stay awake long enough.

Yesterday, I made some Brownies for my children and their friends to enjoy. I took the photo using my new piece of kit and I am so pleased with the quality I am going to be sharing the brownie recipe and photo on the Foodgawker, Tastespotting and All sites. I am still trying to crack the Foodgawker recipe site so maybe this time I will be lucky.  I need to work on my All Recipes site too in the near future. I don’t know that I will increase my traffic from these sites – but it is worth a try as you never know??

As for the remainder of tonight I am planning on adding some more recipes to my next recipe book to add to my collection which is all things “Christmasy”. Right now I want to say a big thank you to those who bought a copy of my Halloween e-book recently and if you could find the time to leave a review about the book that would be really nice.

Tomorrow, it is “Bonfire Night” in the UK and last year I made some Bonfire Cupcakes but this year I am going to make some Chocolate Gingerbread as it is something I have not baked for a long time. Last time I made it I covered the gingerbread with melted dark chocolate but this time I am going to base the recipe on my brownie recipe and add the chocolate to the mixture. I am hoping to achieve a more brownie textured bake but with a definite gingerbread taste. If this works I will share the recipe on Monday or tomorrow if I get the time as my family and I will be going to watch some fireworks tomorrow night.
