This week has been quite a busy one on the Foodie Calendar so far. I picked out some of my favourite days to write and bake about, last weekend, scheduled Facebook posts and enjoyed seeing the posts show up on my Facebook page 🙂 I just gotta do the same this for this week as I feel it helped to organise my work day as I had planned what I was going to do in advance.

Saying that, where has this week gone? I have no sooner turned around and it is Friday tomorrow – a busy baking Friday for me as I have orders to do for collection. I’m really looking forward to getting started in the morning so I may go to bed early just to wake up early too.

I managed to fit in one day of “creating” this week which was a lovely treat for me. I spent Wednesday practising for an order which I have received for collection on Friday. I baked Pineapple Upside Down Pudding with gluten free flour but since baking this pud I have changed in my head how I am going to bake the order for the customer tomorrow. Watch this space for more details about what I did to change the method rather than the recipe with this bake.

As I had picked a few Foodie Calendar days I added them into my week by making the “Pie Week”my Friday Treat Box. So today, there will be plenty of savoury pies available for collection – Corned Beef Pies and Macaroni Cheese Pies. These are available on my webshop to order for collection all the time so you don’t have to wait for a Friday Treat Box.

For “National Pound Cake Day”, I baked a couple of Chocolate Pound Loaf Cakes and shared them on my page. I sold both of these cakes so that was good. They looked divine with the chocolate ganache and crunchie topping :).

After today, I am concentrating on a “Mother’s Day” idea as this very important day is drawing ever closer and then some “Easter” ideas as all I ever see on Instagram at the minute are people making “Easter” things. I really need to get to grips with this now and join the masses.

I’m hoping to catch up with the books early next week so that I am organised for the end of year in April 2020. Then I have a Brownie recipe which I used in my market days that I want to play around with. I am trying to make it healthier so wish me luck n this one.
